Francisco Pedrosa was repeatedly nominated as a ‘Spirax Hero’ and as the below suggests he was a little too humble to talk about his own experience. Instead, we asked his colleagues to tell us why he makes such a difference to our business and their own everyday experience at work.
Johan Steyl, Regional Sales Manager said he admired Francisco because “he has an incredible ability to show the customer what they need and due to his confident and truly authentic approach, customers take huge confidence in the proposed solution despite the potential risk involved in the change. This develops great trust with the customer, making them loyal over the long term. His performance is outstanding but what is more notable is the humility with which he operates every day, always prioritising the needs of the customer and promoting his colleagues.”

Gerhard van Vuuren, Regional Sales Manager said that Francisco was incredibly supportive as a colleague and never sought to take the limelight. He continually considers ways to incorporate colleagues who work in more remote locations and involves them in the overall strategy for the division, so they all know how they make their own difference to the outcome for the customer and the business in general. “He has made me and my team feel that anything is possible and to stretch ourselves to deliver projects that offer specific challenges. This has not only developed us as individuals but contributed to the growth of the business as a whole.”
